Cool pix, t'be sure, but I just had to mention to Steve that you've moved to the city.
He used to live there and the first thing he asked me was, "where does she live?"

Well, I've been scoping out yer photos and it seems that you are straight down the street from the big fire pug down there on the bay.
(Coit Tower?)

But, not knowing fer sure, I mention this as a possibility.
Steve said to ask you where you live, and all I could think of was,
yeah. That's what a gal wants to post on her blog. Her address...maybe when it would be convenient for strangers to come by and visit.
Drink some of the $8 wine.
(try out them rubbers)

(sorry)

So, I mentioned to him what I thought the concerns would be, and told him not to expect an address.
Duh.

His brother lives in Sonoma, and just got a job with some winery. I don't know which one, but, just as long as he's free for winter wineland tasting 'cause that's what Steve and Dan LOVE doin'.

Meanwhile, glad y'liked the joke.

she &/t.: yes, what was i doing up so early? i am an early riser - and since my windows face the sunrise and are uncurtained - i rarely sleep in. how can i sleep through such beauty - and it's different every day - yesterday, it was particularly lovely.

and yeah, it would be hard to take pics of the sunrise if i wasn't up with the sunrise (oh - my camera has a timer!).

boneman: yes, no address is forthcoming, but i wll say that i am above the Castro and below Twin Peaks, and this location nets me the great view. easy access to the Muni, and an abundance of smiles. how can i not smile when i wake up to such beautiful sunrises? when the evening brings me city lights and the moon on the bay? i'd be a fool not to be happy.

flap/flap/ swoosh and soar!
