You Know You're Really Addicted to Blogging When ...
You log on from a computer at work at 7:00PM after teaching all day in shoes that are too tight for you just so you can say:
I now have a functioning laptop. Yes, it works.
But now, my Internet connection at home won't connect (despite much troubleshooting).
Is this a sign? Am I perhaps meant to blog less?
In the meantime, I've been taking some pictures to post. You will have to imagine:
A picture of the fog, slipping in softly over the city.
The sun rising over the hills across the bay, blazing a bright pink through tendrils of mist.
flap/flap/swoosh!

IT'S ALIVE!
IT'S ALIVE!
yes, master...
oh, i guess you figured it out.
Yep. I'm imagining it...
I look forward to seeing pics of your lover, Frisco... are they Polaroids?
Ah, the eternal mysteries of life and computers.
I am sure that you will be able to make a connection soon.
BTW, is your laptop WIFI enabled? If so, you might want to determine if any neighbors are connected. That might provide some resolution.
Just a thought.
Get more comfortable shoes! That's an order. snerx!
Please never stop blogging! You are a sane mind in a world gone mad!
Happy times in your new home.
Enjoy!
Ain't happy when yore nest is empty!
As for my last visit to the area, October 2000, there had been quite a few fires in the region (even Yosemite) and that made the sunsets really cool, settling into a sky of red and purple.
I never did see the fog trick you described. Well, except for hollywooding the event.
You are the reason that I am addicted to blogging, so thank you.
Mrs. B

OK, so, trying a reality based experiment about your question...
Last week I couldn't get in to play on the computer machine at all...
I also painted five pictures (one a day) and hung them at the art center.
maybe bloggin' eats one's life slowly so they don't actually notice what's happenning?
NAH!
It's just because, in my case, I have to go to my friend's computer at his workplace....
we still don't get high speed out in the sticks in Indiana.
Heck! We're just lucky we don't still have to use morse code and smoke signals!
Yoo-hoo!!????
its amazing how much one can actually get accomplished, without the distraction of blogging, even just for a few days. tho, it really does suck.
By the way...
despite the paintings...
I still come down here to blog some.
