you know something?
It has always been th gig that California is the big one on progress, but, it almost seems like the East Coast is putting in its own bid at the title.
And, more specifically, New England.
Maybe they take their freedom more serious?
I dunno. Heck, I live in Boone County, Indiana, where Boss Hogg is still alive and in charge. Dang! And we so need the Duke Brothers and what'de we end up with? Duke Realty Group.
I'm in trouble for saying that California is behind the Yankees, aren't I?
Massachusetts had it going on, but, I think they may have changed their mind.
Oh well.
I can't tell you how pleased I was to learn that our Northern neighbor has come into the current century. Now if only the rest could get on board.
One of these days. One of these days.
it's amazing, isn't it? perhaps there's some hope for this country after all...
Hello All! Thanks for the comments.
Bogs - nice to see ya.
Yes, there's hope for the country - but not for California. Actually, I've read that marriage equality activists in both Iowa and Vermont studied California - to learn what NOT to do.
California has done some good. Now if the narrow minded folks would just get the surgery to put plexi-glass in their bodies so they can see out.
You might want to read this. I found it quite moving, and hope you will too.
I heard that Governor Patterson is pushing for a marriage equality bill in New York State--no-one knows yet if there will be enough votes to pass--need some Republican votes, as at least one Hispanic Democrat is campaigning against it already!
I'm still amazed and pleased at how fast things are moving...
