bogs: what's a tsunami compared to a hurricane? besides, tsunamis occur less frequently than hurricanes, and pattaya wasn't affected by that tsunami a bit back -that was phuket. you should try a thai beach sometime!

she: hahahaha! the weather has been wonderful and Ocean Beach was glorious yesterday!

Cooled off a bit today - but still quite lovely. Summer has arrived. (Though it could leave any day - has done so before.)

infni: i have to check the stats and see what you talkin' bout girrrl!

infini,
while it's true that currently, the Brewers have won more games than any other team in the National League (they have won 24 of 30 games), that doesn't necessarily mean they are the BEST in the world. It does mean they have won more games than other team in their league.

I suppose technically, the St. Looey Cards are the BEST - at least in the United States - as they are the most current World Series winners. Of course, the "WORLD" isn't invited to the series, but who cares? It is OUR game - unique to the US.

However, I am happy for you that the Brewers are doing so well - what fun!

Come here bird. It is more beautiful than that! I would show you a good time, honestly...
Saw the Bushfires in LA. Hope all is ok. We know what it is like.

Saw one of our Premiers ( Bracks from Victoria) over in California shaking hands with Arnie...somekind of agreement re climate change..seemed strange to see.

durn it tern, you are a hard boyd to turn!

They are leading the WORLD I tells ya, and I will muck up some kind of newspaper article to prove it. Me and my Dad had this conversation on Sunday, and I said we had slipped to thoyed, Boyed, and he said, lets check the sports page. Ho Ho, Not SO! he said, Not only are we still ranked number one in the Nation, we are ranked number one in the world right now!!

I know, it's hard, having bat envy.
Harder still, to know your balls are smaller than ours are!

Whoop Whoop!!!

why infini - you impertinent, cheeky, beer brewing batgirl! SQUAWK!

BAT ENVY? When Bonds is bound to break the WORLD RECORD for homeruns this season? I think not.

And what's that you say? the Brewers are using balls larger than others? Why then, they must be playing that girlie sport - softball - not the real man's game. no wonder they're doing so well.

harumph. cough cough. er, um....
(wink wink and nod nod - love ya infini!)

onandon: i would love to visit your fair beaches - alas! travel in thailand is cheap and travel in aussie is not. but someday - someday, i will sit on the beach in your fair land and drink a toast to us both!

Let's Go Brewer's Let's Go!!

Of all the teams that play baseball, IN THE WORLD Japan...etc... we are also first in the world.

I DO believe we also recently BEAT the last world series champs as well...

We've got the biggest... Balls of them ALL!

Let's Go Brewer's Let's Go!!

And PS

Not been to a World Series since 82, been the worst team in baseball since 92 (practically) Just let me have the moment huh?

We both know they will be boozing and whoring it up once they go on the road anyway.

Then I will defer to your almighty Bonds.

But not yet Boydie

not quite yet....

GO BREWERS!

Giants just lost. Our closer, Benitez (with whom we all grew quite disgusted last season - to the extent that fans boo'ed him when he took the mound) gave up some runs - walked to batters who of course, got batted in. natch.

and woe is me, our center-fielder, Roberts - whom I really LIKE may be out on the DL for quite a bit.

typical. typical. we are always plagued by injuries. damn.

nonetheless, GO GIANTS!

talk on espn is that bonds' 756 wont really matter that hank's record is golden and barry's is...pirates booty i guess. i don't like all the BB hatin' myself.

i just read on drudge that in another 50 or so years that a typical summer day in ATL will be 110 degrees.
its already too hot now.

im moving to medicine hat. i am going to move into
/t's shed.

yup - it's always fun to bash bonds - he makes it so easy.

he is an asshole, that's for sure- but he turned surprisingly sweet last year after he broke ruth's record - for games after that he was blowing kisses to the homestand crowd. it is exciting to watch him bat. he's also been moving better this season (a little hustle - maybe he's back on the juice - hahahaha!). i get fed up with pot-bellied men in the stnads complaining about the pace of his running - 'course - they aren't getting paid the big bucks to hit and run either.

i love hank aaron - and no one can replace him or outrank him.

nonetheless, if i'm in the park when bonds breaks aaron's record - i'll celebrate - woohoo - very exciting!

crack that bat baby!

She-wolf (the artist formerly known as K-9) seems to think that the MASCOT of a team determines their underlying strength.

So....

If we get your Giants drunk enough, do you think we will win in San Fran?

Our "mascot" is a sprig of Barley

ooooohhh

SCARY!!!
